Raul Lopez Soriano

Raul Lopez Soriano has worked in the produce and floral industry since 1988. Raul began their career as a Perishables Buyer for Wal Mart, where they worked for nine years. In 1997, they moved to HEB as Produce Deputy Director. In 2005, they became a Consultant for Fresh Express Mexico. In 2006, they joined Wal Mart Mexico as a Senior Produce Buyer/Merchandiser, where they were responsible for strategic and promotional planning, as well as category management for produce implementation. In 2008, they became Director of Sales at Taylor Farms, where they were responsible for expansion and positioning of the brand in the fresh cut products of the Mexican market, customer development for the retail and food service markets, and strategic planning and private label development for fresh salads. In 2009, they joined Veg Master as Director, where their specialties included lettuce, broccoli, carrot, celery, cabbage, tomato, and berries, as well as offering consulting services for agribusiness on domestic trading, import/export, and selling fresh produce. Since 2018, Raul has been the VP of Agtools Mexico, where they have worked to produce market behavior and deliver actionable information for produce traders.

Raul Lopez Soriano has a long history of education. Raul completed a Formación Profesional de Grado Medio from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2021, focusing on Incubadora de empresas. In 2000, they completed a Diplomado in Comercio Internacional from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Lastly, they completed an Ing Agronomo in Zootecnista from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 1982 and 1987.
