Andres Muñoz R.

Andres Muñoz R. has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Andres started their career as a Jefe de SOC at Netsecure, where they managed a team and increased the department's monthly revenue by 50%. Andres then worked at NovaRed as a Subgerente de Seguridad Informática, leading a team of Engineers and overseeing various security services. Andres later became the Gerente de Consultoría y Seguridad Informática at NovaRed, responsible for developing new security services and setting strategies for the company's growth.

Andres Muñoz R. also worked as a Gerente de Seguridad Informática / CISO at SONDA, where they focused on developing security services for Chile and Latin America. Andres then held the position of CISO/GRC Chile|Peru|Uruguay at DIRECTV Chile, where they were in charge of cybersecurity and governance activities.

Andres has also worked at Adessa Falabella as the Jefe Area Seguridad Informática and at Banco de Chile as the SubGerente de Infraestructura (Arquitectura) en Ciberseguridad.

In 2019, Andres Muñoz R. joined ITQ LATAM as the Gerente de Cuentas Estratégicas, where they provided consulting services in cybersecurity to large enterprise clients. Andres later joined the Ministerio de Salud Chile as the CTO | COO - Operaciones TI & Ciberseguridad, managing a team of over 20 people and overseeing IT operations and cybersecurity for one of the largest networks in Latin America.

Currently, Andres Muñoz R. is working as the CISO Corporativo at AGUNSA, where they are responsible for the cybersecurity strategy and operations of the holding company, which operates in more than 20 countries.

Andres Muñoz R. completed a Master's degree in Cybersecurity at ESNECA Business School from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in IT Management from the University of Chile in 2005.
