Pat Bunton

Pat Bunton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. From 2020 to present, Pat has been working at LiveMore Capital, first as the Managing Director and currently as a Strategic Advisor. They played a vital role in preparing the company for launch, focusing on funding, IT platform, sales and marketing functions, and providing input on operational and regulatory matters.

In 2019, Pat joined Ahauz as a Board Adviser and later became a Non-Executive Director in 2022.

Pat also holds a position as a Shareholder at Langley House Mortgages since February 2022.

In 2023, Pat joined UK Finance as the Deputy Chairman of the Later Life Lending Committee and served until July 2023.

Before these roles, Pat had a significant career at different organizations. They were the Director and Chairman of the Board at The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries from 2007 to 2018, where they drove industry responses to market consultations and policy papers, collaborating closely with UK and EU regulators.

Prior to that, Pat led London & Country Mortgages from its establishment in 1993 and grew it to become the No. 1 UK broker, with a substantial market share and profitability. They also worked as a Senior Residential Loan Executive at UCB Homeloans from 1990 to 1993 and as a Manager at Britannia Building Society from 1985 to 1990.

Pat Bunton attended Beechen Cliff from 1978 to 1985, although their degree and field of study are not specified. In terms of certifications, Pat obtained the FPC certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute in September 1994. They also earned the CeMAP certification from the London Institute of Banking & Finance in March 1999, followed by the CeRCC certification in October 2008, the Advanced CeMAP in January 2009, the DipMAP in July 2012, the CeRGI in February 2013, and most recently, the CeRER in January 2023, all from the London Institute of Banking & Finance.
