Munira Almasuudi

Munira Almasuudi has a diverse work experience in the field of IT infrastructure, with a focus on database administration. Munira began their career at Information Technology Authority - Oman in 2014 as part of the Oman Summer of Code program. Munira then worked as a Database OJT at Royal Court Affairs before returning to Information Technology Authority - Oman as a PKI - Oracle Database Administration specialist. In this role, they were responsible for the design and implementation of a high-performance and resilient database infrastructure for the PKI system. Munira joined the Ministry of Transportation, Communication & Information Technology in 2019, where they served as a System and Database Administrator. Munira then moved on to TelyPay as a Database and System Engineer, where they were responsible for MS SQL Server administration and server configuration. Munira continued their career at the National Bank of Oman as an IT Infrastructure - Database specialist, managing database configurations and ensuring efficient access to data. Currently, Munira is working at ahlibank as an IT Infrastructure & Operation - Database specialist, where they are responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various database management systems. Throughout their career, Munira has gained experience in database installation, upgrade, monitoring, performance optimization, and data modification.

Munira Almasuudi's education history includes a range of studies in computer and information sciences, with a focus on database administration and data modeling/warehousing. In 2009, Munira earned a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, specializing in databases, from the University of Technology and Applied Sciences. In 2016, they attended the Oracle University in Malaysia for a workshop on Oracle Database 12c. Continuing their education, Munira pursued further certifications in database administration, completing Oracle Backup and Restore Certification at the Glasspaper Center in Norway in 2019, and Oracle Database Tuning and Performance training at the Sahara Group in Turkey, also in 2019. Most recently, in 2019-2020, Munira attended the University of Stirling, obtaining a Master of Big Data degree in the field of Computer and Information Sciences.
