Lara A. Hartman

Lara A. Hartman is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of HR Operations & Benefits at AHRC New York City since August 2022, Lara also founded Pelargonium Consulting in July 2015, providing consulting and writing services focused on maximizing the unique talents of individuals within organizations. Previous roles include Chief Human Resources Officer at CASES, where Lara developed comprehensive learning and performance strategies, and Deputy Director of Human Resources at Birch Family Services, where Lara stabilized the HR function during significant departmental turnover. Additional experience includes roles at FEGS, HR Dynamics, Ann Taylor, and Brooks Brothers, demonstrating a strong background in HR systems, operations, and strategic development.
