Johan Thuresson

Johan Thuresson has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Johan is currently working as a Manager at frog since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder and held positions as CTO, CPO, and Technical Advisor at Ahum, a mental health platform, from 2015 to 2021. At Ahum, Johan was involved in product development, innovation, market development, managing development teams, and creating system UI and design. Johan also co-founded Ahum, developed the first prototype, created UX and design, and secured seed funding.

Before Ahum, Johan worked as a Technical Advisor at BLANCHEstories in 2021. Johan founded Zebraapa, a freelance collective focusing on design and strategy, in 2001. Johan also served as a Creative Director at Authority from 2015 to 2017 and as an Art Director at SoftResource from 2014 to 2015. At SoftResource, they worked on backend solutions and played a crucial role in the company's transformation into a full-service agency.

Johan's earlier experience includes working as a Creative Lead/Production Manager at Singbox AB, where they focused on creative interaction with music and led a production team. Johan also served as an Art Director/Programmer at Atomgruppen AB.

Throughout their career, Johan has demonstrated skills in project management, product development, UX design, programming, branding strategies, and team leadership. Johan has a strong background in the mental health and technology sectors and has contributed significantly to the growth and success of the companies they have been a part of.

Johan Thuresson has a diverse education history. In 2000-2001, they attended the Capital School of Multimedia, where they obtained a degree in Creative programming with a focus on Game and Interactive Media Design. From 2003 to 2008, Johan studied Materials Engineering at the KTH - Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. In 2010, they attended the Berghs School of Communication, where they concentrated on Art Direction. Johan also pursued a program in Organizational Leadership at Great Leaders in 2013, before completing a Scrum Master certification through Citerus in 2016. Additionally, Johan obtained certification as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in November 2016. Finally, in 2017, they furthered their knowledge in Effektkartläggning at the Inuse Academy.
