Phil Barden

Phil Barden is an accomplished Lead Design Engineer at Aibuild since April 2021, having previously held roles as Senior Design Engineer and Additive Manufacturing Engineer within the same company. Prior to Aibuild, Phil worked as an Assistant M&E Design Coordinator at Multiplex from September 2020 to March 2021. Phil also gained experience as an IoT/Smart Hardware Design and Development Engineer at PRECINTL Co. Ltd. for a brief period in 2019, where contributions were made to product development for various clients. Earlier in the career, Phil undertook an industrial placement as an Undergraduate Mechanical and Electrical Engineer at Multiplex, participating in projects such as the design and management of services for the 40-storey commercial tower at 100 Bishopsgate in Central London. Phil holds a Master's degree in Integrated Design Engineering from the University of Bath, completed from 2015 to 2020.
