Mansoor Foroughi has a diverse range of work experience in the field of neurosurgery. Mansoor began their career in 2009 with a fellowship in neurovascular surgery at the Department of Neurosurgery in Helsinki. Mansoor then went on to complete a fellowship at the British Columbia Children's Hospital in 2009-2010. In 2010, they joined the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham as a Consultant Neurosurgeon and also completed a fellowship in skull base surgery at the same institution. In 2015, Mansoor became a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust and also established their own company, Medical-Eagle LTD. In addition, they served as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at www.Advancedneurosurgery.co.uk. Mansoor's expertise in neurosurgery led him to assume leadership roles, such as being the Lead for the CSF task force at the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) starting from 2019. Currently, they work as a Medical Adviser on the use of Artificial Intelligence at AI Nexus.
Mansoor Foroughi attended Sheffield Medical School in the United Kingdom where they pursued a degree in MB ChB. Additionally, they obtained an MSc in Neurovascular Diseases, along with various other qualifications such as FRCS (Lon), FEBNS, and FRCS (SN). Mansoor Foroughi also completed a Vascular Fellowship in Helsinki, a Paediatric Fellowship in Vancouver, and a Skullbase Fellowship in Birmingham.
