David Armstrong

David Armstrong is a prominent medical professional with extensive experience in gastroenterology and nutrition research. As the Owner of David Armstrong Medicine Professional Corporation, Armstrong also co-founded A.I. VALI INC. and serves as the Chief Innovation Officer. Contributing to academia, Armstrong has been a Medical Advisory Board Member at McMaster University since 1992 and holds the Douglas Family Chair in Nutrition Research. In addition, Armstrong is a Professor with the International Working Group for the Classification of Oesophagitis and has held various leadership roles, including Treasurer of the Canadian Digestive Health Foundation and President Elect of the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology. Armstrong's leadership extends to the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, where work as Committee Chair for the National Colon Cancer Screening Network occurred until 2023. Armstrong earned a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Sciences from the University of Cambridge, completing studies from 1971 to 1977.
