Aoife Prendiville FIA CERA serves as the Head of the GCC CIO Office at AIA since January 2017, additionally holding the title of Head of Ratings and Shareholder Resources Strategy and specializing in Capital Management and ALM. Prior experience includes roles as Manager, Capital Optimisation Actuary at Prudential plc from 2015 to January 2017, and positions at Towers Watson from September 2009 to June 2015, focusing on Equity Manager Research and Investment Consulting. Earlier experience includes an investment banking internship at Goldman Sachs and a role in the Structured Finance Rating Division at S&P. Aoife Prendiville holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Actuarial and Financial Studies from University College Dublin, and became a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries with a focus on Investment, complemented by a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst qualification in Risk Management. Education includes attendance at Mount Anville Secondary School from 1999 to 2005.
