Michelle Velete is an experienced communications and public relations professional with a robust background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Lead, Communications and PR at AIA Philippines since September 2024, Michelle has previously held significant roles such as Corporate and Executive Communications Senior Manager at Manulife Philippines, Assistant Global Marketing Manager at Western Union, and Senior Regional Marketing Coordinator at Baker McKenzie, where responsibilities included digital marketing initiatives and content promotion across Asia Pacific. Early career experience includes contributions as a Special Features Writer for Philippine Daily Inquirer, and as PR Officer for Ateneo de Manila University, complemented by a Master’s degree in Communication from Ateneo de Manila University and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Santo Tomas.
