Hanne-Mari Ahonen has over 11 years of work experience in marketing, sales, and brand management. In 2009, they began their career as a Customer Advisor at Koillis-Savon Seudun Osuuspankki. In 2010, they moved to Linja-autoliike E. Ahonen Ky as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator. In 2012, they completed a Master's Thesis Writer role at Tjäreborg and also held a Marketing Trainee role at OP Bank Group Central Cooperative. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Assistant at Viking Line. During their time at Restel Oy from 2015 to 2018, they held two roles as a Brand Manager for BURGER KING® & Rax Buffet and BURGER KING® & O’Learys. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Marketing Manager, UMA Workspace at Technopolis Plc and then moved to F-Secure Corporation as the Head of Brand Management. Currently, they are the Head of Growth & Brand at Aibidia and the Head Of Brand at WithSecure.
Hanne-Mari Ahonen began their education in 2004 at Nilsiän lukio. Hanne-Mari then continued their studies at the Turku School of Economics from 2007 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and Economic Geography. During their time at the Turku School of Economics, they also participated in an exchange program at Linköping University in 2011, where they studied Business Administration. Additionally, they completed Intermediate Studies in Tourism at the Finnish University Network for Tourism Studies (FUNTS) from 2009 to 2011.
