Oleksiy Slucenko

Oleksiy Slucenko has worked as a Cloud Operations Engineer for Aidence since 2022, Evercon since 2020, Preply since 2019, and KITCODE since 2018. Prior to that, they held the role of IT Infrastructure Engineer and Technical Support Specialist at SIM-NETWORKS from 2016. As IT Infrastructure Engineer, they assisted a CTO with infrastructure level tasks, helped B2B-level clients with their projects, and guided them into building a better IT-infrastructure. Oleksiy also maintained a hybrid IaaS (OpenStack + Ceph) and was responsible for web hosting, VDS (XEN, ESXi), FTP, and iSCSI-servers. As Cloud Operations Engineer, they have built and maintained a scalable automated solution, refined performance and durability of CI/CD pipelines, and redefined long-time storage for logs and metrics.

Oleksiy Slucenko obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture between 2009 and 2013.
