Joao Diogo Falcao

João Diogo Falcão is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as CTO at AiFi Inc. since November 2017, João has also held positions as VP of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Software Engineer and Technology Lead within the same company. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant role at Carnegie Mellon University and a Research Engineer Intern position at Xilinx, where João developed Computer Vision Algorithms. As CTO and Co-Founder of AFM Tech, João established a technology company focused on Facilities Maintenance, serving notable clients such as ExxonMobil and the Angolan Government. João's educational background includes a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor's Degree from Instituto Superior Técnico. Additionally, João has experience as a karate instructor, teaching traditional Japanese Karate to teenagers.
