Steve Carlin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Steve is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at AiFi Inc., a leading AI-powered solution provider that focuses on autonomous shopping technology. Prior to this, Steve was the Founder & Managing Director of Kebek Ventures, where they provided strategic advice and guidance to companies in the gaming, automation, software, and service robotics sectors. Steve also worked as a Venture Partner & Executive in Residence at Translink Capital, where they advised on investments and provided strategic counsel to young companies in the portfolio. Additionally, Steve has served as a Strategic Advisor to various companies in sectors such as robotic automation, manufacturing information software, VR gaming, and telecom technology. Earlier in their career, Steve held leadership positions at SoftBank Robotics America, Facebook (as Global Head of Strategy - Gaming), Ubisoft, Cubed Theory (as a Director), and Energizer Battery. In these roles, they were responsible for various aspects of business development, marketing, sales, and strategic planning.
Steve Carlin obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Miami University in 1994. Steve went on to pursue an MBA at Emory University's Goizueta Business School from 1998 to 2000, specializing in Marketing and International Business. In 1999, they briefly studied International Business and Management at the University of International Business and Economics. Steve also participated in the Food Executives Program at Cornell University, although the specific duration is not provided. In 2000, they furthered their education in International Business and Management at HEC Paris. In 2016, Steve attended the CMO Academy at Columbia Business School for Executive Education.
