Matthew Krause

Machine Learning/neuroscience Researcher at Aifred Health

Matthew Krause is a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University since 2013, focusing on DARPA-funded research to develop advanced brain stimulation technology through extensive intracranial and EEG recordings. Additionally, Matthew has served as a Machine Learning/Neuroscience Researcher at aifred since 2017, utilizing machine learning to enhance psychiatric treatment efficacy as part of the IBM AI XPrize competition. Prior experience includes a Graduate Student role at Yale University from 2005 to 2012, where Matthew studied neural representations of visual information, and positions at Georgetown University from 2002 to 2005 as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, contributing to projects in computer science and linguistics. Matthew earned a PhD in Neurobiology from Yale University and a BS in Computer Science and Linguistics from Georgetown University.
