Wadiha Chaibub is an Engineer Intern at AIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc. since August 2022, focusing on project plans and detailed engineering designs in alignment with FDOT and AASHTO standards, along with data collection for urban storm system drainage design using ArcGIS and MIKE SHE software. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Florida Gulf Coast University from January 2021 to October 2022, where Wadiha evaluated and optimized pilot-scale floating wetlands for phytoremediation of municipal landfill leachate utilizing saline-tolerant plants native to South Florida. Wadiha also served as a Student Assistant at Florida Gulf Coast University from August 2019 to March 2020 and as a Student Leader at Valencia College from May 2017 to April 2019. Wadiha holds Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology and Civil Engineering from Florida Gulf Coast University, in addition to an Associate of Arts degree in Engineering from Valencia College.
