Kelly Featherstone

Kelly Featherstone has a diverse work experience in the finance and investment industry. Kelly is currently working at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) as the Managing Director of Client Investment Strategy and Investment Product Management. In this role, they are responsible for developing and implementing risk assessment methods and providing risk advisory services to clients. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Client Risk Management and Director of Client Relations at AIMCo, where they focused on managing client relationships and exceeding service expectations. Kelly has also worked as a Senior Analyst in Public Equities at AIMCo, where they constructed and managed the external manager portfolio. Additionally, they have experience as an Actuarial Analyst at Mercer, where they excelled in member calculations and actuarial valuations. Kelly Featherstone also serves as an External Member on the Board Investment Committee at the University of Alberta.

Kelly Featherstone has a BSc Honors degree in Pure Mathematics and Actuarial Science from the University of Calgary. Kelly obtained the following additional certifications: Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) in 2018, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) in 2013, and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder in 2013. In 2021, they completed the Women's Leadership Program at Yale School of Management Executive Education, and in 2019, they completed the AIMCo Coaching Champions Program at The Ivey Academy - Executive Education - Ivey Business School.
