Rachel Wade

Rachel Wade has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rachel is currently the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Employee Experience at the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since October 2022. Rachel also serves as a Board Member at the Calgary Public Library Foundation from May 2023. Rachel is the Founder & President of Including You Consulting, which focuses on building a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable world. Rachel has also worked as the Manager of International Diversity & Inclusion, Culture & Engagement at Parkland Corporation. Rachel has held leadership positions at the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society and Imagine Cities, and has served in various roles at ATB Financial and TD Canada Trust.

Rachel Wade has a Master's Degree in Professional Communications from Royal Roads University, which they completed in 2015. Rachel also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communications and Culture with a minor in Sociology from the University of Calgary, which they obtained in 2008. In 2011, Rachel Wade completed a Public Relations Certificate at Mount Royal University. Rachel received the Qualified Administrator certification from Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained an Indigenous Canada Certificate from the University of Alberta in 2018 and a GBA+ (Gender Based Analysis Plus) qualification from the Government of Canada in 2019. Most recently, in 2021, Rachel Wade completed a course on Writing for Children: Introduction at the University of Toronto.
