David Dorries

Director of Sales and Marketing at AIMS, Incorporated

David Dorries has a diverse work experience in the sales and marketing field. David started their career as Vice President of Sales at Sungard Recovery Services in 1989, where they successfully led regional sales managers and account executives. David was then promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales at Computer Associates in 1998, where they directed six regional vice presidents and a total staff of 71 people.

In 2003, Dorries joined St. Bernard Software as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales. David reported directly to the CEO and was responsible for growing worldwide billings from 16 million to 28+ million in two years. David increased the sales organization from 34 to 60+ team members and introduced a new pipeline management process that improved forecasting accuracy.

After their tenure at St. Bernard Software, Dorries took on the role of Executive Vice President of Sales at Walz Certified Mail Solutions in 2006. David then joined AIMS, Incorporated in 2008 as the Director of Sales and Marketing. AIMS, Inc is a 40-year-old software company specializing in selling financial software to the petroleum industry.

Throughout their career, Dorries has demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully managing teams and driving sales growth for various companies in the software industry.

David Dorries attended Southern Illinois University from 1968 to 1972, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.
