Jonathan Fernández de Ara

Jonathan Fernández de Ara has extensive experience in the field of materials engineering, specifically in surface engineering and tribology. Since October 2007, Jonathan has served as Responsable de Línea de Ingeniería de Superficies and responsable de tribología at AIN - Asociación de la Industria Navarra, managing R&D projects and specializing in surface modification techniques, material characterization using GDOES spectroscopy, SEM-EDX microscopy, and various corrosion and tribological tests. Prior to this role, Jonathan worked as a Técnico de Calidad at BSH, focusing on chemical and mechanical testing for product quality assurance, and gained experience as a Técnico en Laboratorio Químico during an internship at Igartex. Jonathan holds a Doctorate and a Master's degree in Engineering of Materials and Manufacturing from the Universidad Pública de Navarra, along with a Licenciado in Chemical Sciences from the Universidad de Navarra.
