Zhenyu Hu has worked in the engineering field since 2012. Zhenyu began their career at Nanchang Railway Trans Group CO., LTD as an Electrical Engineer in 2012, where they were involved in the Communication Based Train Control System (CBTC) with THALES SAIC TRANSPORT Inc. in Nanchang Metro-Rail Line 1. In 2014, they moved to The University of Kansas where they served as a Student Research Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant. As a Student Research Assistant, they designed an optical OFDM system with high speed transmission and implemented the DSP part by the Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA. As a Graduate Research Assistant, they worked with the lighting research group for lighting experiments and tests, focusing on programming by Matlab and C++ for the signal processing and image processing. In 2015, they became a FPGA Firmware Engineer at Aerotenna LLC, where they developed FPGA firmware using Verilog/VHDL with a strong emphasis on DSP and cost-effective implementations. Currently, they are a Sr. Firmware Engineer at Ainstein, where they design and implements software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment. Zhenyu also integrates and validates new product designs and interfaces with hardware design and development.
Zhenyu Hu obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Kansas between 2013 and 2015.
