Willie Smith

Willie Smith has extensive experience in education and sports officiating. Currently serving as a Track and Field Official for Federal Way Public Schools since March 2022, Willie also has a long tenure with the Seattle Metro Softball Umpires Association as a Sports Referee since January 2008. An Aerospace Science Instructor with the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) since February 1997, Willie facilitates student education in aerospace fundamentals, leadership, and wellness. Previous roles include serving as an instructor at Carolina High School and Academy and managing the AFJROTC program in Hawaii. With a solid educational background, including degrees from Saint Mary's University and the Community College of the Air Force, Willie has been recognized as a Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2004.
