Umar Mir

Umar Mir is an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician currently employed with Air India Limited since November 2024, where responsibilities include providing technical support and performing routine and scheduled maintenance checks on A320 FAMILY and B737MAX aircraft. Prior to this role, Umar worked at Vistara - TATA SIA Airlines Ltd. as an AMT in early 2024 and gained valuable experience at AAR Indamer from April 2021 to December 2023 in various roles, including Aircraft Maintenance Junior Technician and Aircraft Maintenance Assistant. Umar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Indira Gandhi National Open University and an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering degree from the School for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, obtained from June 2017 to December 2020.
