Leila Peters

Leila Peters serves as the General Manager Corporate Finance at Air New Zealand since October 2015, overseeing balance sheet and cash flow management and medium-term financial forecasting. Previous roles at Air New Zealand include General Manager Investor Relations & Financial Planning and Head of Investor Relations and Financial Planning, where significant contributions to investor relations, strategic planning, and corporate communications were made. Leila has also held positions at Tyco International, including Head of Investor Relations and Treasury Manager, and at Jefferies as an Investment Banking Associate. Additionally, Leila's early career included roles at Deutsche Bank focused on global cash management sales. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance and Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics and Government from Georgetown University. Notable accolades include being a finalist for Best Investor Relations in various awards by the Australasian Investor Relations Association and the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand.
