Allan Gaige

Allan Gaige is an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in aeronautical engineering and maintenance. Currently serving as a LAME B2 at Air Niugini since October 2018, Allan holds ratings for F70/F100 and Q400 aircraft, performing both line and base maintenance. Prior to this role, Allan worked as an AME at Air Niugini from September 2016 to October 2018, focusing on base maintenance for Fokker 70/100 and Dash8 200/300 models. Earlier experiences include an apprenticeship at Pratt & Whitney Asia Pacific, where Allan undertook V2500 engine overhauls, and an apprenticeship at Air New Zealand, where responsibilities included C and D checks on 737, A320, and C130 aircraft. Allan began a career in IT as a Graduate Trainee-Programmer at Bank South Pacific, developing applications using Visual Studio Dot Net and working with SQL Server. Allan Gaige holds a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air New Zealand Aviation Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Papua New Guinea.
