Gerald Burton has extensive experience in customer service and emergency communication, currently working as a Customer Care Agent at AirServ International since October 2014, assisting passengers at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport. From June 1980 to May 2013, Gerald served in various roles at the Jamaica Amateur Radio Association, including Disaster Coordinator and Emergency Communications Specialist, developing operational procedures and coordinating island-wide communications during emergencies. Prior to this, Gerald held positions in marketing and sales at Sealy Mattress Company from September 1990 to November 1996, and received formal radio telecommunications training in the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard from 1976 to 1981. Gerald began military service in 1966 with the 1st Battalion Jamaica Regiment, rising to the rank of Section Commander. Gerald's education was completed at St. Aloysius Boy's School.
