Alan Baur

Alan Baur has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Cook Park Boat Rental Attendant for the Tualatin Riverkeepers. In 2013, they worked as a Phonathon Caller for Reed College. In 2014, they worked as a Landscaper for Rejuvenation Artisans Landscapes. From 2015 to 2019, they worked for Advanced Design Consulting USA Inc. in various roles, including Operations Manager, Engineering Project Manager, and CNC Machinist and Programmer. In 2019, they began working as a Process Engineer for Corning Incorporated, where they supported R&D efforts in glass, ceramic and metal shops with CAD, CAM and CNC insight and provided input for experimental process development in daily manufacturing meetings. In 2021, they began working as a CNC Manufacturing & Quality Engineer for Air Squared.

Alan Baur earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Physics from Reed College in 2013. Alan then attended MIPO for Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from 2013 to 2014. Alan also holds a certification in Stanford Machine Learning Through Coursera from Coursera.
