Xiaoxin Yin

Xiaoxin (Aaron) Yin is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Airbnb since April 2020, Xiaoxin has a strong foundation in relevance algorithms. Prior to this role, Xiaoxin was the Founder and CEO of Resure Technology, overseeing a team of 18 while developing casual chatbots and automated writing technology from July 2017 to April 2020. Previous roles include Head of Algorithm in Marketplace at Houzz, where effective ranking and recommendation strategies were implemented, as well as significant positions at Google, AQR Capital Management, Microsoft Corp., and internship experiences at Amazon and IBM. Academically, Xiaoxin holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University.
