Miroslav Stojkovic

General Manager at Airborne Technology

Miroslav Stojkovic has over 20 years of work experience in the aerospace engineering industry. Miroslav is currently working as the General and Engineering Manager at Airborne since October 2018.

Before joining Airborne, Stojkovic worked at the National Composites Centre from August 2012 to October 2018. During their time there, they held the positions of Engineering Capability Manager and Research Team Leader. Their responsibilities included providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams, managing projects and resources, and conducting research on composite materials and manufacturing processes.

Prior to that, Stojkovic was employed at Assystem UK from 2010 to 2012. Miroslav served as the Lead Stress Engineer for the A350 XWB Wing Tip/Winglet project and later as a Senior Stress Engineer for the A320 EFT team. Their role involved providing stress support and leadership to ensure the timely delivery of projects.

Stojkovic also gained valuable experience at GKN Aerospace from 2005 to 2010. Miroslav held various positions such as Senior Stress Engineer and Stress Engineer, where they supported stress activities, performed certification analysis, and provided stress support for aircraft design projects.

Earlier in their career, Stojkovic worked as a Stress Engineer at Magellan Aerospace (Hansford) from 2003 to 2005. In this role, they supported the certification activities of the PC-21 training aircraft and performed stress analysis for the Airframe structure.

Furthermore, Stojkovic began their career as an Aircraft Engineer in the Air Force from 1999 to 2000. Miroslav then served as a Research Assistant at the University of Belgrade from 2000 to 2001 and as a Lecturer at the High School of Aerospace Engineering from 2001 to 2002.

Overall, Stojkovic has extensive experience in engineering management, stress analysis, project management, and research in the aerospace industry.

Miroslav Stojkovic pursued an MSc degree in Engineering Mechanics and Structures from Cranfield University's School of Engineering during the academic year 2002-2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Dipl.Ing degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics from the University of Belgrade, where they studied from 1994 to 1999.
