Gildas Michel

Gildas Michel currently serves as the Head of Procurement Applications & Digital Solutions Services at Airbus, a position held since January 2005. In this role, Gildas Michel leads the General Procurement Transformation Project, overseeing a team of 470 people and managing a spending budget of 10 billion euros to enhance organizational efficiency through new tools and processes. Other notable positions at Airbus have included Head of Travel Procurement, responsible for global travel services, and Head of Procurement Communication Services, focusing on procurement marketing and communication within the General Procurement Shared Service. Prior to Airbus, Gildas Michel worked as the Sourcing Group Manager at GSK from October 2000 to January 2005. Gildas Michel holds a Post Graduate degree in Management & Procurement from Université Pierre Mendès-France (Grenoble II) and additional education from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.
