Stephane Soumillon

Stephane Soumillon is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience at Airbus since 2004, currently serving as Aircraft Lead Architect. Previous roles include Head of Demonstrator at Airbus UpNext, where project leadership encompassed end-to-end responsibilities in flight demonstration. Significant contributions to the Single Aisle operation included supporting the Vice President, managing the In-Flow Control Board, and leading various development teams, overseeing critical aspects of aircraft design such as aerodynamics and performance for the A320 family. Soumillon holds a PhD in fluid mechanics and aerodynamics from ISAE-SUPAERO, complemented by an engineering degree from the same institution.
