Lewis Vondy

Lewis Vondy is an experienced aviation professional with a career spanning over three decades in various roles, including Check Airman at CHI Aviation since September 2021, where expertise in training and evaluating in the Sikorsky SK-61 is demonstrated. Prior experience includes serving as an Aviation Compliance Evaluator at Air Methods from April 2010 to August 2021, responsible for training and evaluating pilots in several helicopter models. Vondy also held positions as Director of Operations and Chief Pilot at St. Mary's Medical Center, overseeing compliance and pilot training for the LifeFlight program. Earlier roles include EMS Helicopter Pilot in Command and helicopter flight instruction. Vondy holds a BS in Aviation Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and experience as a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army.
