Vy (Gavin) Nguyen

Vy (Gavin) Nguyen has extensive work experience in the tech industry. In 2014, they began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at AS White Global. In 2016, they moved to Codix as a Senior Frontend Developer, where they were the first front-end developer for the iMX Revamp initiative and represented the Vietnam team in Europe for product planning. In 2018, they joined DFO Global Performance Commerce as a Senior Fullstack (overflow) Software Engineer. In 2020, they were hired by Microsoft as a Partner Technology Strategist - Global Partner Solutions, where they managed top partners across all Microsoft cloud solutions, delivered 112% revenue KPIs, built 30 new co-sell ready offerings, and helped skill up 2K+ partner engineers. Currently, they are Co-founder & CTO at Hello Clever, a Universal Payment, Money Management, Spend and Save ecosystem focused on Australia and APAC markets.

Vy (Gavin) Nguyen has a diverse education history. In 2007, they obtained their High School Certificate from Nguyen Binh Khiem Specialist High School. From 2010 to 2014, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from FPT University. Vy (Gavin) then went on to obtain a MicroMasters in Digital Transformation Leadership from Boston University in 2019-2021. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at RMIT University. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications from Microsoft, Prosci, HarvardX, edX, and Udemy, ranging from Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure AI Engineer Associate to Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age and Node with React: Fullstack Web Development.
