Ashu Singh

Ashu Singh has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ashu is currently the Director of Systems Engineering at Aireon LLC, where they lead a multi-faceted engineering group responsible for delivering Space Based Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) services. Prior to this, they worked at OneWeb as a Senior Manager, leading a team of Senior Level Systems Engineers within the Communications Ground Systems (CGS) group.

Before joining OneWeb, Ashu served as the Senior Director of Systems Engineering at COMSAT- Formerly Airbus D&S, where they successfully completed negotiations for follow-on tasking that represented a significant portion of the company's revenue stream. Ashu also worked as a Senior Consultant at DTRI, where they focused on program management consulting for US Government Intelligence Community (IC) programs.

Ashu's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Project Lead at Comsat, where they were responsible for system level engineering and management of telecommunication and networking switching systems. Ashu also served as an Advisory Engineer/System Lead at Lockheed Martin, contributing to the product development of a satellite payload for wireless GSM compatible service. Their career started as an Engineer at MITRE, where they provided Systems Engineering support for SATCOM systems.

Ashu Singh earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. Ashu then went on to pursue a Master's degree in the same field at the same university from 1984 to 1986.
