Agnes Czako has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Agnes co-founded and served as the CEO of AirEx Technologies, a London-based climate tech company that developed a smart air brick solution to reduce heating energy bills while maintaining air quality. Agnes started their role at AirEx in December 2016.
In 2022, Agnes became a Fellow at Unreasonable, a group that connects entrepreneurs, institutions, and investors to solve global problems. Agnes is part of the Unreasonable Fellowship, which provides lifelong support to entrepreneurs operating at the intersection of impact and profit.
From 2015 to 2018, Agnes worked as a Venture Manager at Sustainable Venture Development Partners. Their role involved leading low-carbon innovation projects focused on fabric energy efficiency and building technologies. Agnes also acted as a lead energy assessor and Passivhaus consultant, conducting home energy-efficiency assessments and providing recommendations for improvements and behavioral changes.
Before their career in the sustainability sector, Agnes gained marketing experience as an OTC trade marketing intern at sanofi-aventis in 2011.
Additionally, Agnes served as a board member at Fast Forward 2030 from 2020 to 2023, contributing their expertise to the organization's mission of advancing sustainable ventures.
Agnes Czako's education history includes a variety of academic achievements and certifications. In 2021, they attended Harvard Business School and completed the Executive Education - ALD program with a focus on Leadership. From 2015 to 2017, they pursued an MSt degree in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment at the University of Cambridge, while also working full-time. Additionally, in 2015, they obtained certification as a Certified Passivhaus Consultant in Low Energy Building Design from the AECB Carbonlite / Passivhaus Institute. Prior to that, Agnes attended Corvinus University of Budapest from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bsc degree in Economics.
Agnes also holds several additional certifications, including the ABBE Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment (obtained in 2012), the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Green Deal Assessment (obtained in 2013), and the European Certified Passivhaus Consultant certification from the Darmstadt Institute (obtained in 2015).
