Rachel Milligan has a diverse work experience spanning from Mental Health Support Worker at PASTORAL CYMRU (CARDIFF) LIMITED to Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Bristol. Rachel is currently an Associate Consultant at Outsmart Insight, where they undertake freelance projects in tech forecasting, roadmapping and benchmarking. Rachel also worked as a Research Manager at Traumascapes CIC, where they managed the research team and worked on research and consultancy projects. Furthermore, they volunteer as a technician and a researcher on Covid and other respiratory viruses at the University of Bristol. Before that, they worked as a Property Manager at Seymours Estate Agents.
Rachel Milligan started their education in 2008 at Bristol Grammar School but did not earn a degree. Rachel later obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of South Wales from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, they earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Science from UCL, and from 2017 to 2021, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Neuroscience (Biochemistry) at the University of Bristol. In 2015, they gained an Introduction to Statistics with R certification from UCL. Rachel also has additional certifications including Introduction to Programming Using Python and Java from Codecademy, and Conflict Management and Resolution and Conflict Management from Maybo.
