Amit Sheoran

Amit Sheoran has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Amit started their career in 2015 as a QA Engineer at AskmeBazaar, where they were responsible for creating test scenarios and test cases based on functional documents and user stories. Amit also played a vital role in setting test plans and executing test cases, as well as analyzing software QA with a focus on performance testing. In 2016, Amit joined Healthians.com as a Software Test Engineer, where they wrote test cases based on product documents and was responsible for setting test plans and executing them. Amit also played a role in software QA and analysis, with an emphasis on performance testing. In 2020, Amit moved on to PrivateDeal, a Swiss company, where they held the positions of Quality Assurance Engineer and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. During their time at PrivateDeal, Amit was involved in developing an automated smart negotiation system to increase direct hotel bookings and effectively manage room prices. In 2023, they joined AIRLINQ as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

Amit Sheoran completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from B K Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pilani, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Birla School in Pilani from 2000 to 2011, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Computer Science, and Physical Education.

Amit has also obtained several certifications, including "Selenium Essential Training" from LinkedIn in January 2023, "Advanced JMeter" from LinkedIn in September 2022, "Rest API Testing Automation from Scratch - Rest Assured Java" from Udemy in April 2020, "Java Tutorial Course" from SoloLearn in February 2018, and "SQL Fundamentals Course" from SoloLearn in January 2018.
