Rahul Naidu has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications and engineering fields. Rahul started their career at Telstra as a Senior Design Engineer in 2009 and later joined the Department of Community Safety as a Technical Communications Team Leader in 2010. Rahul then joined Origin Energy as a Senior Telecommunications Engineer in 2011 and remained with the company until 2020. In 2021, they worked at Woodside Energy as a Senior Communications Engineer and later as a Senior Telecommunications Engineer. Rahul also briefly worked as an NRCC Team Leader at BAI Communications. In 2022, they joined Kent as a Senior Telecommunications Engineer and later moved to WSP as a Principal Telecommunications Engineer. In 2023, they worked as a Project Lead - Comms at Rio Tinto and is currently working at Airservices Australia as a Project Technical Lead.
Rahul Naidu holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics from the University of Southern Queensland. Rahul also obtained a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Fiji National University and a Certificate in Telecommunications - Transmission Principles from Telecom Training Center. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland. Rahul has additional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from the Cisco Networking Academy and various certifications from LinkedIn on topics like project management, networking, and leadership.
