Gary Shaw Amraes Engtech

Gary S. is a highly experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer with a career spanning over 26 years in the aviation industry. Currently employed at AirTanker since July 2023, Gary S. previously served in the Royal Air Force from October 2001 to July 2023, where responsibilities included working on various aircraft such as Harriers, C-17 Globemaster III, and Tristar at multiple RAF bases. Prior to the RAF, Gary S. completed a time-served apprenticeship as a Sheet Metal Worker at Anglia Sheet Metal Company Ltd from October 1996 to October 2000. Gary S. holds a Modern Apprenticeship degree in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician from RAF Cosford, completed between 2002 and 2003, and possesses CAA B1/C Engineer certification with a Type Rating for the A330/Voyager-RR.
