Sir Kevin Leeson

Sir Kevin Leeson is a highly experienced professional in the aerospace and defense sectors, currently serving as the Director of Military Affairs at Airbus UK since October 2016, with additional roles as a Senior Military Advisor at AirTanker and Senior Advisor at Newton Europe and MCF Corporate Finance. Since March 2013, Sir Kevin has been the Managing Director of KJL Consulting (Coln) Ltd, providing independent consultancy in aerospace, business strategy, and safety. Previous positions include Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust and an advisory role for British Airways' Board Safety Review Committee. Notably, between 2004 and 2012, Sir Kevin held key positions in the UK Ministry of Defence, including Chief of Materiel (Air) and Assistant Chief of Defence Staff for strategy and logistics. Sir Kevin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester and is currently pursuing an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering from the same institution.
