Tristan Jones

Tristan Jones is an experienced flight operations professional with a career spanning over a decade. Since April 2012, Tristan has served as the Flight Operations Systems Manager at AirTanker, overseeing the daily operations of the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and Flight Planning systems, including route and payload analysis, EFB system administration, and enhancements to flight planning software. Prior to this role, Tristan was the Flight Planning Manager and Flight Operations Controller at AirTanker, starting as a Crew Duty Officer during the acquisition of the first aircraft. Before joining AirTanker, Tristan worked as a Flight Operations Controller at Empire Test Pilot School (Qinetiq) from June 2009 to April 2012, where responsibilities included managing the operations room, coordinating the flying program, and monitoring meteorological information and flight changes. Tristan holds A-Levels in Maths, Physics, German, and Product Design from Duke of Yorks Royal Military School, attended from 2001 to 2008.
