Zak Markovic

Zak Markovic has extensive work experience in safety and operations management. Zak is currently serving as the Chief Safety Officer at AirTrunk, where they focus on meeting the data center needs of the company's customers. Prior to this role, Zak worked as the Head of Safety at AirTrunk and as the Managing Partner at Markovic Ross Consulting, where they guided organizations in improving their business processes. Zak also served as the Safety Operations Manager at Essential Energy and as the HSEQ Manager at G&S Engineering Services. Zak has additionally held positions such as HSSEQ Director at Compass Group, HSE Manager at SWG Operations, Project Safety Advisor at John Holland, and Safety Advisor at Procrete Australia. Throughout their career, Zak has been responsible for developing and implementing safety management systems, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Zak Markovic holds a Masters Degree in OHS from Edith Cowan University, as well as a Graduate Diploma in OHS from the same institution. Additionally, they have obtained the NEBOSH IGC International General Certificate in OHS from NEBOSH. Zak also holds a Certificate IV in OHS from North Metropolitan TAFE and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment from AAMC Training Group. Zak'ssecondary education was completed at Craigie Senior High School.
