Dmitri Poukhovski has a long and varied work history. Dmitri began their career in 1985 as a Paratrooper Private in the military. After leaving the military in 1995, they worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Mineral Engineering at Penn State University. In 1997, they took a Senior Database Administrator role at Mastech, working on a contract with Delphi Automotive. Dmitri then moved to SolutionsIQ in 1999 as an Infrastructure Engineer. Later that same year, they joined Microsoft, where they held various roles, including Director IT Strategic Workforce Management, Director Service Engineering, Products and Services IT, Group Production Manager, IT, Senior Production Manager, IT, Production Manager, IT, and Production Supervisor, IT. In 2014, they joined Corel Corporation, where they held the roles of VP of eCommerce Operations, Head of HR, Parallels Division, VP of Operations and IT, Head of HR of Parallels Inc (acquired by Corel Corp), and Chief Information Officer of Parallels Inc (acquired by Corel Corp). Finally, in 2019, they founded and became the CEO of AirVote.
Dmitri Poukhovski has a long history of education. In 1983, they completed two years at the Russian State Geological Prospecting University named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze with a 4.0 GPA in Mining Engineering. From 1987 to 1992, they earned a BS in Mining Engineering from Peoples' University in Moscow, Russia. From 1995 to 1997, they completed coursework toward an MS in Mining Engineering at Penn State University. In 2017, they obtained a Human Resources Essentials Certificate from Cornell University in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including ITIL v3 Foundations from the Cabinet Office, UK in 2012, MCSE from Microsoft Corp in 1999, and MCP + Internet from Microsoft Corp in 1999.
