Nicolas Laliberté

Deep Learning Research Scientist at Airy:3D

Nicolas Laliberté has a strong background in deep learning research and development. Nicolas currently works as a Deep Learning Research Scientist at AIRY3D, starting in January 2020. Before that, they were a Deep Learning R&D Intern at Matrox from May 2019 to November 2019. Nicolas also has experience in academia, as a Teacher Assistant at Université de Montréal from January 2015 to May 2019. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at Université de Montréal, conducting research in probability theory with professor Louis-Pierre Arguin.

Nicolas Laliberté began their education with a Bachelor's degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics from the Université de Montréal, which they completed between 2012 and 2015. Nicolas further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Probability theory from the same university from 2015 to 2017.

In order to specialize in Deep Learning, Nicolas Laliberté enrolled as a Professional Masters Candidate at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute for a period of two years, starting from 2018 until 2020.

To supplement their educational background, Nicolas Laliberté also obtained additional certifications. In September 2017, they completed the "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" course offered by Coursera. In October 2017, they also completed the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" course through Coursera.
