Chen Nisimi has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Chen started their career in 2009 as an Electro Optical Technician at Meprolight, where they worked on laser calibration, mechanical assembly, and testing of weapons integrated optical fiber laser systems. Chen was later promoted to work in the Electro-Optics department, focusing on thermal sights and night vision technology.
In 2014, Chen joined Microwave Vision Group (SATIMO, ORBIT/FR, MVG-EMC) as an Electrical Integration Engineer. Chen worked part-time as a student in the engineering department, where they were involved in electronic controls for engines and RF assemblies. Chen also led projects from design to closure and operated as a systems engineer.
From 2017 to 2020, Chen worked at Elbit Systems Ltd as a Hardware&System Validation Engineer in the Airborne Systems Division. Chen managed a team of engineers and practical engineers, developed test plans, and provided professional guidance. Chen also collaborated with R&D to gain insights on V&V protocols.
Currently, Chen is working at Aitech as an HW V&V Engineer. Chen is responsible for the validation processes of various projects assigned to the HW V&V team. This includes checking interfaces such as power, clocks, serial, Ethernet, USB, and video interfaces.
Throughout their career, Chen has gained valuable experience in hardware validation, system integration, and project management within the defense and engineering industries.
Chen Nisimi completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ruppin Academic Center, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a practical engineer degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from ORT Colleges between 2004 and 2006.
