Fernando Requena started their work experience in 2004 as an Accounting Assistant at RSM Uruguay, where they audited the Financial Statements of local companies and calculated tax returns for offshore companies. In 2005, they joined Baker Tilly Uruguay as a Tax Advisor, analyzing tax planning opportunities for international clients and leading the tax advisory group. In 2009, they became a Financial Officer at the Organization of American States, supervising multiple projects, coordinating Electoral Observation Missions, and improving the payments process. Since 2013, they have been working at Aiva, starting as a Budget & Commissions Manager and currently serving as the Head of Finance. In their current role, they manage the budget function and provides financial information for the company's board.
Fernando Requena has an MBA degree from IE Business School, which they completed from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Universidad Católica del Uruguay 'Dámaso Antonio Larranaga'\u200b from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Accounting. Their earliest education was at Ivy Thomas Memorial School from 1988 to 1997.
