Jorge Esteban Quilcate Otoya

Jorge Esteban Quilcate Otoya has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jorge Esteban most recently worked at Aiven as a Senior Software Engineer starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Confluent from April 2020 to February 2023, first as a Solutions Architect and later as a Senior Solutions Architect. Before joining Confluent, Jorge worked at SYSCO AS as a Senior Consultant from January 2014 to March 2020. Jorge Esteban started their career as a DBA Junior at USMP from August 2009 to December 2010, where they were responsible for administrating, improving, and securing testing and production databases, as well as developing and researching emerging application development technologies. Jorge Esteban Quilcate Otoya completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Systems at Universidad de San Martín de Porres from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2016, they became an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer. Jorge Esteban also obtained the Oracle IT Architecture SOA 2013 Certified Architecture Specialist certification in November 2014. In the same month, they completed several online courses and obtained certificates from Coursera, including "Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship," "Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects," and "Metadata: Organizing and Discovering Information." In July 2012, Jorge obtained the Oracle WebCenter Content 11g Implementation Specialist certification, followed by the Oracle WebLogic Server 11g Administrator - OCA certification in June 2012. In May 2012, they became an Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle WebLogic Server 11g System Administrator. Prior to that, in May 2011, they achieved the Oracle BPM Suite 11g Certification Specialist. Finally, in December 2010, they obtained the IBM SOA Certified Associate certification.
