Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Aiven

Pavel Dmytrenko has worked in the tech industry since 2011. Pavel began their career as a Research Physicist at the Institute of Physics NAS Ukraine, where they were responsible for searching for advanced methods of recording and reading holographic Bragg gratings in photopolymer composites, as well as scientific programming in Python. In 2013, they joined Nokia Networks as an OSS Solution Engineer, where they were responsible for analyzing and responding to technical parts of RFPs received from major Telecom Operators, and matching operator/customer needs with Nokia OSS products portfolio. In 2015, they joined GlobalLogic as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the design and development of a product for provisioning and management a fully functional local AWS cloud stack. In 2018, they joined AnchorFree as a DevOps Engineer. In 2020, they joined Aura as a DevOps Engineer. Currently, they are working at Aiven as a Site Reliability Engineer, where they are improving the scalability, reliability, monitoring and alerting of the Aiven cloud platform, ensuring the systems are able to scale with the rapidly growing customer base, and participating in on-call rotation, customer support and helping to investigate customer cases.

Pavel Dmytrenko obtained a Master's Degree in Radioelectronics Engineering from the National Aviation University between 2007 and 2013. Pavel also holds certifications in Advanced Databases and SQL Querying from Udemy, An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python from Coursera, Javascript Essentials from Udemy, Principles of Computing (Part 1) and (Part 2) from Coursera, and VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization from VMware.
