Ryan Sammon

Ryan Sammon has over twelve years of work experience in the software engineering industry. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Aiven. Prior to this, they were a Senior Engineer at BenchSci from 2020 to 2021. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Numerator in various roles, including Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Senior Site Reliability Engineer. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at 360pi (acquired by Market Track) as Solutions Development Manager. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at General Dynamics Mission Systems as a Software Engineer. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Software Engineer at Apption Software. Lastly, from 2007 to 2008, they worked at Ross Video as a Software Engineer.

Ryan Sammon earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa between 2011 and 2013. Ryan also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology, respectively, from the University of Ottawa between 2005 and 2010.
